In this book the author shares prayers and reflections to provide insight into the concerns of people who struggle with mental illness, many of whom are homeless. This writing will help others who wish to understand their son or daughter, neighbor, or friend who suffers from a mental illness; and in doing so, will give an idea of how to pray for them and their needs. God will listen; have hope that this is so, because without God, we’d all be in pretty bad shape. The author provides her testimony and describes her mission which is to tell others about God’s saving grace and healing that comes through faith in Jesus Christ. These subjects have not been addressed by many previously, especially in this form of literature. There is a dearth of resources in this area of prayer and reflection for mental illness in which this book helps fill the void.
